A lot of companies over the years say that memory cards will replace all the Disc Media technology on the market and no one will buy CD or DVD any more. As you can see, more and more formats just continuo to come out over the years. For example the Blue Ray is now one of the top technologies on the market that everyone talks about.
Many of my friends ask me all the time why I continue to work in the CD/DVD field. They are sure that this field in 1 or 2 more years will stop to exist. Every time that one of my friend asks me this question I explain him that the CD market will remain at list for the next 20 years. Of course their first face reaction is what the hell I am talking about but after I explain them my point of view they start to understand that I am right.
The problem with memory cards (Pen drives, USB Sticks, SD and etc) that they are very expansive comparing to CD/DVD. For example, a 4.7 GB DVD-R disc will cost you maybe $0.5 USD, but a 4 GB memory card will cost you at least $10 USD (a very simple one). So maybe for a consumer is nice to buy 1 memory stick and delete and copy all the time, buy what will happened when you will need 100 copies to give to your customers? You have 2 choices, 1st is to use 100 DVDs that will cost you around $50 USD. The other choice that you have is to use 100 memory sticks that will cost you $1000 USD. Which option you will use? More than that, let’s take big companies that need to duplicate there software more than 10,000 Pc, what do you think they will use? Of course they will choose the DVD option! It’s much cheaper then to buy 10,000 memory sticks! Just for the fun of it. 10,000 DVD will probably cost them around $5000 USD when 10,000 memory sticks will cost them around $100,000 or even more, so which one you think the companies will choose.
So in the end, the media technology will stay with us at list for 20 more years (if not more!) and the reason is very simple, cheap to buy and cheap to produce!

Last weekend there was 2 days exhibition in Taipei County. It wasn’t a big exhibition, but we`ve decided to go just for the fun :)
I have to say that many people were really interested in our machines and especially our DEX3000 (Many of them really like the flip disc mechanism).
A lot of new customers also was amazed from our Publisher System that combine with the Consumer CD/DVD Epson Printer on the market (in Taiwan the model is T50). all of them like the idea that they can purchase the printer ink`s cartridges and the printer everywhere they want.
Also, as always, we made lots of friend on those 2 days from all the booths around us ^^.

In our days, there is a lot of standalone duplicator on the market that some of them are better and some of them are worst. The biggest problem that my customers encounter with different stand alone duplicator is that every time that the customer open a new machine from the box, something goes wrong. Sometimes the recorders don’t work. Sometimes the machine doesn’t recognize the main board and etc and etc. of course is not happened all the time but it’s happened a lot.
I have to thank the other companies for those problems. Many of our customers after they buy our machine a really satisfied that 100% percent of the time, our machine out of the box don’t do any problems. As I see it, one of the reasons is because our machines are not building complicated as our competitor machines. Our machines are so simple, that anyone can fix them. If something is going wrong (if something is going wrong!) you just need to open some screws replace the part that got defective and close the screws, just open the screws, replace the part and close the screws, Can’t be more simple than that!
The other companies machines on the market if something is got defective, you have to send it back to the lab or you need to hire a technician and invest time and money to train him how to fix those machines. More than that, you can lose a customer and money because of those problems.
After many researches, we offer to our customer our standalone version the DEX2100. Our machine is so reliable, that the only thing that you will probably need to change is the discs that you burn with it. Our DEX2100 really makes our customers life much easier than before (like all of our products). They don’t need to invest money to train a new technician and the best part, The DEX2100 Cheaper than the other machines on the market.
